I finished another butterfly and flower drawing last night using the same materials as the last one. Just finished this drawing last night. I rendered it as a personal tribute of sorts, for the Spanish Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. I substituted the original white horse for one of my favorite colored horses, which you’ll soon see. Drawn mostly using a 6B Wolffs carbon pencil with a little bit of Nitram HB charcoal for the softer areas. Hope you enjoy. I’ve provided some close ups of the drawing so that you can see the details. I recently completed a simple sketch yesterday, working on developing contrasts and lighting. The purpose was to render as much of the figure I could with enough detail in just under two hours. Posting a quick portrait drawing I did this afternoon. I’m posting the reference photo, the tools I used, and the final result. It’s pretty basic but I’m happy with the end result considering the speed at which it was drawn. I’d like to be able to draw a semi-realistic portrait in about two hours.
